LG G4 packs Snapdragon 808 processor, 5.5 Quad HD Display and 16MP camera
LG’s latest flagship contender is officially here. The phone is the successor of the popular G3 which was announced last year. Equipped with a six-core processor, an improved 5.5 inch quad-HD display, and a 16-megapixel camera and runs on Android 5.1 Lollilop. The phone serves as a striking alternative to other smartphone frontrunners, like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9.
LG G4 is powered by Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz and Adreno 418 GPU. The phone features 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card to 128GB.

G4 sports a 5.5-inch LCD display. The quad-HD touchscreen is ultra-sharp, with a 2,560×1,440-pixel resolution and 534 pixels per inch (ppi). LG claims that the G4’s display, an IPS Quantum Display that it says is the first of its kind anywhere, is 25 percent brighter (500 nits) and has a 20 percent wider color range than its previous QHD screens on mobile devices.
On the back is a 16-megapixel camera. Its f/1.8 aperture helps with taking photos in low-light conditions, plus there’s a 40 percent larger sensor, improved optical image stabilization (OIS) and a laser-guided autofocus. With the G4, its OIS mechanisms are stabilized along two axes, while previous devices only used one degree of stabilization. LG also improved its laser autofocus by adding a color sensor underneath the flash for better color representation.
For your selfie and video chatting needs, the phone’s front-facing camera has been bumped up a 8 megapixel.
The rear panel does not feature the self healing back cover found on G Flex 2, but comes with a textured scratch resistant cover and also features leather back panels. The device is made of polycarbonate material. LG has a proprietary treatment to the leather that makes it more durable than the standard luxury goods.
The phone also features 3000mAh battery which supports wireless charging. The battery is removable unlike other flagship devices.
There is no mention on the pricing as of now, it comes in metallic black, silk white and shine gold color options
