Samsung Galaxy On8 – Full Phone Specification and Price
After the success of On Series in 2015 when it debuted with Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7, Samsung, launched the On5 Pro and On7 Pro in India this year in 2016. Following the success Samsung is back with another On device called the On8. This device supposedly has quite good specs to be priced around 10000, that is generally the pricing for On series phones so far.

Display and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy On8 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels giving it a total pixel density of 401PPI which is paired with excellent viewing angles. The screen also reproduces vivid images and there are no readability issues even if you are out in the sun. For storing apps and media files, one gets 16GB of onboard storage space which can further be expanded using a microSD card up to 256GB. The device does look and feel good, especially the chamfered edges makes it comfortable to hold the device. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Gorilla Glass protection by Samsung.
Hardware and Features
Inside the Galaxy On8 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa Core processor and is clocked at 2GHz, along with the processor you get 3GB RAM to take care of your multitasking requirements. On the software front, the phone is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI with no details on Android Nougat update.
On the rear of the Samsung Galaxy On8 lies a 13MP shooter and it can record videos up to 1080p. The rear camera also gets an LED Flash to take shots and record videos in low light conditions. For selfies and video calling you get a 8MP camera on the front.
For shutterbugs, the Galaxy On8 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera which is paired with an LED flash that can capture stunning images and record videos in both bright and dull conditions. For video calls and selfies, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooterTo the joy of selfie lovers, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that can also be used for video calling.
Battery and Connectivity
To power the Samsung Galaxy On8, there is a 3300mAh battery sealed inside the phone and does support fast charging. 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi are all included with the device to cover the connectivity aspect, however the phone does lack NFC support. Galaxy On8 is a Dual SIM device that accepts Dual Nano SIMs.
